Charlene moved back to Vermont after 18 years out West and began working with Susan in February 2008. Susan and Charlene have known each other since Charlene's teenage years as a result of her long-time friendship with Susan's daughter Martha. Since her arrival, she and Susan have created many new designs and they have both been enjoying their work together.
Charlene graduated from the University of Oregon in 2000 with a BS in Art with an emphasis in Fibers and a minor in Art History. During college she started C. Ivy Dobbins Designs, a weaving business which she operated for 5 years. Charlene has worked as a costumer as well as for other artists/designers including Savoy Studios, B.A.D., and Tops Malibu.
